A perfect night in Dubai

23 May, '06

I’d like to thank both Anisa and Lujayn for a wonderful evening in Dubai, the best I’ve had here for a very long time. Excellent company, stimulating conversation, good food, and new good friends.

I am privileged to know you ladies. I hope that we will make these meetings a regular on my visits here.

Bed beckons… good night!

This is ridiculous. I can’t believe such mentality and wording being used in today’s word. I am an Asian, and I feel humiliated at my countrymen being referred to in such ways. Mahmood, yourself and your team of socially concious Bahrainis have done alot for the island. I urge you to work to get rid of these stereotypes that exist in Bahrain. Bahrainis must become more concious and aware, and must reject such systemic racism and discrimination.

Mahmood, it was really nice seeing you again. I really enjoyed the evening and look forward to seeing you again next time you’re in town. Consider bringing the family, though. We make some pretty good shopping companions 🙂
