He was very hyper and the owner didn't have the authoritative voice down pat yet. When he kicked it, he didn't get it to fly into the air because of the viciousness, I must admit, but it was a gentle tap that did no harm. Had he been vicious about it, he would have been thrown out of the group immediately. The laughter was not at the dog, but the owner, for following such a stupid suggestion, but as he did, he actually demonstrated the level of his frustration and his willingness to listen to any stupid "advice" to get his dog trained properly.
