The Ministry of Information is withholding permission to publish and distribute the above books in Bahrain. Mahmood's Den adds its voice demanding that the Ministry respects freedoms of expression and refrains from hindering publishing activities which are integral to freedoms of expression and human rights.

It is sad to hear that you won’t be writing here anymore, Mahmood. You were simply great. As an Indian living in Bahrain, I always found your views and analysis, on all matters in Bahrain, refreshingly original and needfully bold. Best wishes as you take a break. Or thats what we all hope to believe.
