If you look at any religion (which are mostly male dominated anyway) you will most probably find some scripture relegating women to the back row. Therefore, its not an exclusive Islam trait. With that preamble and taking it strictly in a religious point of view, then yes, they would be unIslamic/unChristian/unJewish/unInsertBigRNameHere.
