I got this in the guestmap today and what a find:
My blog offers the perspective of an American expatriate in Bahrain. My views are not politically correct – I’m neither pro-American nor anti-Muslim – I’m just noting experiences as an outsider.
Certainly shows you a perspective of an expatriate in Bahrain and well worth the read! He’s going on my blogroll immediately!
Enjoy…

Very interesting .. he certainly is not pro-American … an “Ugly American” perhaps?

uhhh…i read his most recent entry…and he sounds like another lunatic left winger…who believes that Bush is either 1. retarded, 2. evil incarnate
just reading his blog is like listening someone spewing fantasy conspiracy theories faster than watching the rain drop

No. It was a good post and very right about this deeply second rate occupant of the White House. I don’t blame the author for being embarrassed by Bush, I feel ashamed for the Americans I know everytime Bush opens his mouth to misquote some platitude – usually with hilarious consequences.
Bush comes across as completely manipulated by the neocons, like yesterday when he had to be baby sitted by Cheney when speaking before the September 11 Commission. Bush doesn’t understand either his own policies, or their consequences.

This guy is certainly right on one point, He sure as hell is not pro-American. He reads like one of these left wing democrat wacko’s that are screaming that we need to turn over Iraq and our military to the hopelessly corrupt United Nations and cozy back up to France’s way of thinking. How sick is that? For anyone reading his blogs, his political views are definitely of our political minority, albeit a vocal minority. You should read their tactics, they scream about Bush but if you criticize their lame-ass candidate Kerry, they then yell and holler about these ‘attacks

What a pity. You’re being so balanced liking this nut’s blog.
“All is just a Zionist conspiracy” – is the logic he uses.
Again, pity you like his blog.

It seems fashionable nowadays to regard anyone to the left of Wolvowitz or Strom Thurmond as a “lunatic left winger” or “left wing democrat wacko’s”, so to continue the purposeful and constructive dialogue and labeling, I propose calling anyone to the left of Ralph Nader as a “bible-bashing, gun loving, Nazi” or a “racist, hawkish, red neck”!
Another blog from Bahrain!
heh.. obviously to the right (not left) of Ralph Nader?
Re: Another blog from Bahrain!
Tsedek, I carry no responsibility for what is written in other sites, neither do I do so for comments entered here for that matter. So putting a link on this page does not necessarily mean that I approve of their content. They have their own point of view and they are responsible themselves for that. My intention here is to help Bahraini-based blogs to light. That’s it.
But as you can also see, I’ve got quite a few Israeli blogs listed in th elinks as well, yet not a single comment from an Arab or otherwise berated me for those!
So no, I don’t believe in conspiracies.
Thanks for visiting and please do come back often, I hope by you doing that, we can do what the politions could not and we may finally find the peace we both are looking for.
Re: Another blog from Bahrain!
OK, thanks for the answer. I didn’t know that. Thought bloggers linked to their preferences.
(I like reading your blog – mostly because of your moderate tone)
