It seems that most people visiting Mahmood’s Den have really fast connections. Certainly 75% of the audience have connections equal to or better than 512kbps, 12.5% connect through 256kbps which is still acceptable (on a Batelco good day!) to view movies, while only 12.5% connect through dial-up.
So I won’t bother changing my compression and size settings for the movies. I would advise you all however to download and start using FireANT as that could download in the background and would ease your process.

I usually visit your site using a 512 connection, but we have moved houses recently and I had to use dialup for a while and I couldn’t believe that I ever used such a slow connection to do anything on the net, let alone watch a video clip…
