Well, not sure how accurate it is like you said. They place the stamp on the page before last so this is placed in a weird page. Maybe someone’s trying to stir some trouble?

  2. mahmood

I got mine stamped on the page opposite the picture. And I’ve seen the officials doing the same with other passports, so I’m questioning this as well. Still, it must be looked into to ascertain its authenticity or otherwise.

i can’t see the date of birth, but the passport is fairly new “KINGDOM of Bahrain”.
I know some people who look extremely young on their passports, this can also be the case.
even if the kid is under legal age, why would they stamp it?

  4. Darth

The stamps are only made in the area opposite the picture, if there was going to be fraud, they wouldn’t STAMP a child’s passport… would make no sense to do that anyway and leave proof of that nature of something fishy….In any case and in all honesty more than anything the results of the election indicate that there is no fraud…There aren’t any surprises that would leave us to wonder how in the hell that guy or whatever won or didn’t…

Stupid person who took this shot. The name is VERY clear and the number of the passport too. The authourities could be at his house sooner than I could say “FOOL”.

  6. mahmood

And then you see the picture of a person stamping a passport in today’s Al-Waqt page 9 (pdf) where the lady is clearly stamping a page in the middle of the passport. There is no caption; however, to tell us if this is a library picture or a picture that was taken yesterday of an actual passport being stamped.

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Salah Ali ran one of the dirtiest campaigns ever, he’s been accused with giving bribes, threats, and issuing religious fatwas against Munira, and now that he has “won”, will people ever look at him with trust?

Of course that’s the farthest from his mind. What’s present rather is the purported continued inflation of his bank account through illegal means.

As we say in Bahrian: “za7raman 3la chabdek” and you will be exposed, you sectarian piece of turd.

Al Ayam has purposely not put a single picture of Al Menbar in its paper… its fascinating!!! … I love politics….

I would also love a line on Judiciary Fraud.

A tiny bit of indications came about today, in the form of the appalling linguistic skills that many Bahraini judges who appeared on Bahrain TV have displayed, while reading out the polling results.

Not only did they fail even 5th Grade Grammar (Arabic), they also failed to make any distinction between 1%, 0.1%, and 0.01%.

Is this not another form of inbedded Fraud? How can they read ligigation papers?!

    hi again,

im so sorry, for writing in that language. so from now on, i will write in proper English. =P

    ur sister (bahraini)

  12. mahmood

Thanks sis! Even if I could understand what you wrote (and I didn’t) I’m sure that the majority of our guests won’t!

  13. ba7rainiya

ok, i will repeat all i have said in English, as your desire. First i am so thankful to god that most of the candidates who won are from the wifaq society. We are so proud of them. And talking about the passport of the little child who voted, I know that it is not true, of course the managers over there opened the passport and saw the picture! Are the managers over there blind??

Anyway, i dont believe this thing!!! it’s your choice if you wanna believe it!!! I have an evidence that shows that it is not true!!! You Just check it all over again and you will find out what i mean!!!

    your sister,
    bahraini

  14. mjf

hey ba7rain, i know how anyone could vote by takin in 2 passports together. the guard there is blind where he couldnt see the 1000 of 100’s of vote’s that came in from the army (not legal). also some of the candidates had bribed some people inside the election school giving them the advantage of getting in fake vote’s + showing that others are cheaters. walla i dont care what anybody says I say lets go bananas and be happy. wefaq, fairoooz, fa5ro, alllll winners……………………………..

  15. mahmood

I believe what I see in an unedited and seemingly untampered with video.

If the Elections Committee took it upon themselves to transparently investigate the matter and make their findings public and if that investigation clears the issue, I will happily go along with them.

  16. ba7rainiya

by the way, what is this website actually about??
honestly, I just heard about it from a friend! =P
but one thing i know about this website is that it’s about the 2006 elections.

  17. mahmood

It’s just that, an Elections News website created by the journalist Abbas Busafwan containing news, analysis and interviews.

Now that the elections are over, he will move the news to another website called majliscom.com for the next four years.

It’s an excellent concept and I wish him luck in this mammoth effort.
