This particular tree, the Cassia surattensis, attracts these bumble-bees which dive-bomb it to get the nectar. Stand long enough and you can certainly imagine a fighter jets descending on a carrier or a war zone with the noise and movements they make!

Have a wonderful Friday (the thirteenth!) my friends.

Happy Friday, Mahmood. Friday the 13th has always been good luck for me, since my birthday falls on the 13th of March :). It will be a day of rest for me, I took the day off, partly because I am heading out of town, but also to do a little gardening. I’ve got some beautiful natives in mind:

Lovely. At least it “looks” like spring somewhere. I think my daffordils are covered in snow this morning. 🙁 I love the change of seasons, but……. Have a wonderful Friday everyone.

    Mahmood,

You have a good collection of gardening pictures. Have you ever thought of using them in a kind of a project or may be book?

That’s a good project to do! I had mulled that thought but never really considered it. Maybe an exhibition first…
