I’ve come to love this shrub. The older it is, the more it produces and as you can see from this picture, it is really well worth having, especially when you consider that I have failed miserably trying to grow hydrangeas here, this is the best next thing to me.
It flowers on year-old branches, so if you have it be careful how and when you prune it. It’s not very fussy really, it’ll survive, but it won’t reward you by flowering until a year after it’s pruned.
