I know I know, once a blogger always a blogger. I won’t even put a name to it, but almost every search I do gets me back to a previous article I have written here or a comment from one of the over 44,000 comments entered over the years and I get that pang: “maybe I should write about this” etc. I’m sure many other bloggers would sympathise with the situation.
That’s not too far from the truth actually, urea in the human body carries waste nitrogen out of the body in urine, it’s the same chemical component that releases nitrogen where it is most required, the stuff is packed with nitrogen! I normally spread urea on my lawn after cutting it once every summer and it almost instantly turn luscious green.
Bananas!, originally uploaded by malyousif. It’s almost mid November and Bahrain’s weather is still in the 30s C. No wonder the plants are confused. The banana tree is showing a new crop, in November! Although it’s Friday the 13th today, do have a fantastic and peaceful Friday my friends.

Although heavily attacked by mealy bugs and fungus this year, it survived after I heavily pruned the worst affected parts. I look forward to more of its gorgeous flowers. I’ve got …
