Not sure why, but most of the plants in our garden seem to be at least a month behind others in the neighbourhood, even if they’re just a few doors down. I put it to our house being closer to the sea (it’s only about a kilometer or so away) and as it is in a corner, it’s in the crux of a wind tunnel; thus, cooling it down more than other houses. At least this is the only rational explanation I can think of.
In any case, “Penelope”, our Poinciana Regia has finally clothed itself and began to flower. Even though it creates a mess sometimes, I still love it!
