Everything is at the dates, birds, bees and goodness knows what else that I don’t think we will have as good a crop from this palm as we had last year..

Ah well, let them enjoy it, there’s plenty more.

Enjoy him while you can as the years fly by so quickly that one day you turn around and wonder how that 5 year old you spent all day chasing turned into the wonderful man standing before you. Ah, the joys of parenthood.

Um Naief: Dates are actually wind pollinated, no bees needed, but male trees definitely.

Mahmood: Wonderful, and happy birthday to your son. Here in California he’d be asking to get his provisional driving permit (how old does one have to be to drive in Bahrain?)
