and am not feeling too good this morning. Big surprise huh? 😉
The temperature last night was closer to 50c than 45c I promise you. The humidity is stifling this time of year too. It habitually hovers between 80 and 100% so that you can’t breath sometimes, even for us “locals”. When all these conditions meet, the air conditioning units gives up the ghost… they’ve had enough! We have two central air conditioning units in our house, one for the living room, kitchen and hall while the other is for the bedrooms. The one serving our bedrooms gave up last night, although it was serviced just a day earlier. The fan sounded like an asthmetic smoker on 40 a day and close to the grave! So we migrated to the living room with spare mats, I was too lazy to go get one so Amna got me my quilt, that got spread on the floor instead and off I went on my very intermittent sleep due to discomfort and the bloody puppy (Phoebe) scratching and barking at the door trying to get in.. she’s missing the fun of all of us on the floor! I finally couldn’t take it any more so I got up at around 7am, showered and came to the office. Not a very nice thing that… not having an A/C in this type of weather. 🙁
