well, it had to happen… the server that currently hosts my sites is being brought to its knees! this is good!!
I’ve just bought another server with double the power and better bandwidth which I am in the process of migrating to. I’ll only move mahmood.tv when I am satisfied that the new server is working as it should. it’s almost there now but for a few teething problems.
just before the move happens I’ll switch off the comments on the old server and move the database to the new one. that should take 5 – 12 hours (if we’re lucky) for the new IP address to resolve and then we’ll be up and running.
unfortunately this current server is being overwhelmed and I have to manually restart it sometimes every day! not very good…

Re-boot! When troubleshooting, that’s always my first option!
