having problems with the server at the moment, mysql (the database) and apache (the server) are eating up all the resources and rendering the server inaccessable.
so for now and until I finish the investigation, I have hidden the blocks on the left which might contribute to accessive queries. hope this helps…

I’ve just upgraded to a later version of Xaraya 0.9.10 from the bk tree. If you find any problems, you will let me know won’t you?!
One beautiful thing that this version has (amongst many, I’m in discovery mode) is that the comments now also have permalinks (ie, you can refer to individual comments in your own blogs if you like as this provides a direct link to the comment) so go crazy!
Oh, and in the previous version if comments are nested more than 8 deep, they dissapear unless you refer to the comment physically, now that appears to be fixed too. Just click on the “children” link under the nested comment in question and Xaraya brings the hidden comments out!

Man, this version of Xaraya 0.9.10 is FAST! Infinitely less resource hungry on the server. It reminds me of one of my college instructor’s saying that “it’s as fast as a fart in a lemonade bottle!” 🙂
