On a whim, I downloaded Fedora Core 3, Partition Magic’ed my Dell Latitude D400 Laptop, and installed Fedora Core 3 Linux on it this afternoon. Nothing better to do!
I must say that I was pleasantly surprised, on initial thoughts I see that it’s smoother, boots up much faster, and has all the office applications one would need …. in this version, it comes with Arabic built in as well.
Hey, and the Kernel at 2.6 is cool too…

Fedora Core 3 Rocks!
it does rock, i downloaded it also and upgraded from redhat 9. I had bugs and incompatibility issues with redhat but i fixed them all in fedora. Its also a excellent gaming platform if you can get a copy of cedega. I am playing the windows version return to castle wolfienstein mulitplayer online under the linux windows ‘API’ cedega with better framerates than in windows! Tons of other games run under cedega including recent stuff like Doom3. I have the new Firefox browser and Bittorrent working with Fedora too which is pretty neat..
