Fedora Core 3 INSTALLED!

ooh baby! I had a little bit of hit-and-run but google once again saved the day…

tip, if your GRUB just hangs after you reboot, make sure that your hard disks are defined, or at least put on AUTO in your BIOS settings, otherwise it will throw GRUB for a loop!

Now all I have to do is figure the best settings for the modelines and we’ll be ok!

    Fedora FC3 vs. Suse 9.2

I found this review which you might be interested in reading. Quite interesting to find that the person doing the review is torn between the two as both distributions have very strong pros and some cons.

So on one side I have Fedora, which is closer to the RH systems I support, completely free, and with a large and diverse add-on repository(s). On the other side is Suse with Novell backing, better out-of-the-box support, better looking, and seemingly better polished. Which one am I going to use? I don’t know yet.

Osama is that the latest Suse that you have? I have always wanted to try it… if it is the latest, can I get a copy so that I can play with it a bit?
