It’s time for a change. I’ve had the “minimal_mahmood” theme for about a year and a half now (seems like a lot more) and it’s now time to change.
I love simple things. Especially in themes as they are light, airy and you can screw up with them a lot easier than a complex themes! This is the premise of the design behind the “Tree of Life”. So far I have lived with it for a couple of days and I have come to love it. I hope that you will like it too.
For the technically inclined, I created the bulk of the theme within 30 minutes, and spend the last couple of days tinkering with it until I got it to this level. It just demonstrates the power of the BlockLayout engine of Xaraya and of course Xaraya itself.
If you want a copy of this theme, let me know and I’ll put it up for you to download, same with the previous minimal_mahmood theme if only to learn something of it and use either to design your own.

This layout needs your “mug” on it as well. The TREE OF LIFE is a nice touch. What a tree it is!

I didn’t say I wanted to look at your “MUG” 1st thing when I turned on my computer! I just felt that MAHMOOD.TV should have YOUR mug on it. If you think you need a MUG change fly on over and see my friend who is a Plastic Surgeon. I am sure he can whip you up a new “mug”.
ps how about putting back the “friends online” view? It is nice to see who is lurking around.

Niiiiiice! Simple yet good lookin. I liked the tree of life pic, where did u get it? if its high res it’ll sit on my desktop for a long looong time!

I must confess that the picture is not mine. I googled and grabbed! I can’t find the blasted thing any more. I was sure I just searched for tree of life bahrain and I got the picture which was showing an American spec Lexus coupe in front of the tree of life, I now can’t find it!
The resolution wasn’t that great anyway, just 700 x 400 or so. My intention is to use this picture as a place-holder until I can get off my butt and go out there and take my own picture of the tree!
