Nomadic Ruminations

I am a Bahraini citizen currently living and working in the U.S. The recent developments in Bahrain have left me appalled, sometimes fuming. I therefore decided to set up this blog to provide me with a means of venting, and hopefully keep me from paying a visit to the nearest therapist.

My interest in politics has been limited, to say the least. I therefore choose to delve primarily into the economic (and frequently socio-economic) ramifications of the recent developments and policy implementations within the Kingdom. To turn an absolute blind eye towards politics, however, will prove futile as economics and politics undoubtfully go hand in hand.

While some of my observations will prove to be obvious and stand out like dogs balls, others will exceptional and somewhat unique. Nevertheless I promise to be controversial, engaging and sometimes crass as observed in the previous sentence.
