Are you going to miss it? Arif and I won’t and that’s for granted!
I visited the BIC this afternoon and witnessed a preview of the weekend: rain, MeCars and F3s. I’ve seen them go at one hell of speed on a wet track, and I’ve seen the plumes of water showers behind them. I’ve heard them roar. I’ve seen a couple of them skid and slide. I can guarantee you that it’s gonna be another one of the best weekends in Bahrain.

The First Ever F3 Race is happening tomorrow in Bahrain..
Sounds like it will be fun this weekend. I reckon the cars are going to be much louder than at the GT….we could hear them all the way in Awali! (same with the F1 cars in April). I hate to say it but a little part of me hope theres are drizzle tomorow…just because the races and things become much more dramatic…plumes of water and flashing tail lights and all that stuff!
I still havent put up my GT pics on my website….where does the time go!

Does anyone know whether you can just turn up at the BIC to see the race? Are there still tickets? If so I’m heading down there.

yeah F3. U know guyz i had a chance to race one of these. I have a MSA type B, which is a UK issued racing licence. There were trials for holders of the MSA B nearby with a full sponsership in the 2004 season for those who pass. I know i can pass but It costs too much to enter and my dad refused to sponser this hobby of mine 😀 , will i’ll try saving this year n hopefully i’ll have enough for the next season, wish me luck!

Yes, tickets are still available and can be bought at the door. BD 5 or 10 (get the 10, better view) and they’re going to have drag races as well so the Oasis grandstand might be better for more things to see. We’re at the main grandstand having bought the tickets before they announced the inclusion of drag racing.

Good luck man! I was talking to one of the dads at the track yesterday who had his son racing for one of the teams. We didn’t talk about money but I suspect that it will be expensive.
The BIC are building the Karting track after the F1 race next year, and I think I’ll register all my kids in that one and see who’s a speed-head to continue on and then we’ll try to get sponsorship.
You know for instance for racing a GT car it would cost you about BD90,000 a race!

Hey guys, maybe we’ll get a chance to meet up then. I’m heading down there myself tomorrow (can’t make it today), it’ll be my first time at the ciruit! Not sure when or where, but I’ll certainly be there. I’ll keep an eye out for you! 😉
