And of course if you’re bored, you either get sloshed, go walk the dogs, invite a few friends over, or get creative to while away the time…
I’ve done number 1 and number 3 last night as we had a lovely bbq with some close friends and it was a most excellent time, as my head would have attested to the fact when IT rolled out of bed this morning.
Thanks also to Mr. Panadol. He is going straight to Heaven.
Afternoon rolls by after having watched a movie with the delectable fat-calved Julianne Moore and that bastard Pierce Brosnan in Laws of Attraction, had lunch which was what was left of the BBQ (still living!) and then surfed, took some pictures, uploaded a few that I liked and then surfed some more, that’s when I came across The Rasterbator on The Sect of Homokaasu, a most wonderful idea the result of which is this:

The Rasterbator is a web service which creates huge, rasterized images from any picture. The rasterized images can be printed and assembled into extremely cool looking posters up to 20 meters in size.
You should try it yourself, it’s quite a lot of fun!
Arif should be thanked for putting the picture together, it is 25 A4 sheets arranged 5×5 and is approximately 1.5m x 1.0m and as you see from the picture above, it’s plonked on my study wall at home. The kids keep telling me that I look like the Matrix’s Morpheus so they stood me in front of this poster and took a picture of me.
Incidentally, the picture that was blown up to such dimensions was actually taken by my old cameraphone, the Nokia 6600 at 640×480 resolution. Quite a fantastic result isn’t it?

ah you noticed the rabbit ears! very observant, I was wondering how long it would take someone to notice those. no one has confessed to it yet although I do have my suspicions. I’ve been “rabbitised” as well as “rasterbated” what else can I ask for?
