Congratulations to the winners of the 1st BABAs

I’d like to offer my sincere congratulations to the winners of the first ever Best Arab Blogs Awards. Well done all, and here’s to you winning again next year!

I know that the awards had some controversy, but believe you me that both Haitham and myself are very aware of these shenanigans and we are already putting measures so that these things don’t repeat next year.

We’re sorry that a few desperados screwed it up for so many. No matter, we’re not going to get them to dampen our spirits nor our enjoyment for the privilege of mounting the first ever Arab blog awards. I guess our main fault is being too trusting this time around.

Congratulations once again to all the winners, and hard luck to everyone else. We hope that next year’s will be bigger and better.
