Marshals for the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix took part in a week long training program at the media centre of the Bahrain International Circuit.
The training session, conducted by Cams (Confederation of Australian Motor Sport) and sponsored by BIC, went over the basic training required as well as specialist training.
“We also held a shakedown event on Friday. The marshals underwent theoretical and practical training,� said General Secretary of the Motorsport Marshals Club (MMC), Abdulaziz Al Thawadi.
Around 950 marshals including medical and fire personnel will be gearing up to take part in the Gulf Air Bahrain Grad Prix to be held on April 1, 2 and 3.
