Race for charity at the Bahrain International Circuit

Celebrities will be racing for charity during a race to be held at the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.

The Bahrain International Circuit has added another race to the already jam-packed schedule of the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, 1st, 2nd and 3rd April. The Mini Challenge, a charity race organised by the BIC and Euro Motors will feature 14 Mini Cooper Club Sport cars with identical specifications and engine capacity.

Each car in Euro Motors’ Mini Challenge will be sponsored by a local Bahraini company with each participating driver paying a fee of $10,000 which will go directly to different local Bahraini charities.

Among the participants rumoured to be taking part are Cora Schumacher, wife of F1 driver Ralf Schumacher, Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al-Khalifa, President of the Court of the Crown Prince and Zayed Al Zayani, Euro Motors’ Managing Director
