actually race weekend starts from this thursday onwards – literally for the organizsers, teams & drivers, race marshalls – fire, medical, pit/grid, sector & u know what I mean right. so lets make those numbers – 31,1,2,3,4,5.
BTW – there are 3 supporting races happening this Thurday but access is limited to the race marshal crews & invited guests.
And I like the BIC management teams and the people working there – so young & dynamic, friendly & always on the go. Bahrain should be real proud of them! Especially Head of Marshalls – Jassim, Naseer Al Qasseri, Fayez & Al Thawadi – they’re all doing a good job plus setting a good example of leadership and team skills!
Good on them & good luck to all of us in making this another successful F1 race for Bahrain.

I’m far, far away from Bahrain right now. But in some 6 weeks time, I’ll be in that timezone.

both should work actually. I did notice early this morning that without the www it didn’t resolve. it does now.
The drag event is normally priced at 1 or 2 dinars so put up that mug shot anyway, c’mon, let’s have some fun!
And people this ticket that I’m giving away is worth BD132 and in addition to that you get a free lunch, free transport to and from the venue and good company, don’t you want to save money and have fun at the same time? Let’s have some mug shots please!!!

They are all doing a wonderful job. From the top down and I am proud of them all.
I just hope that this year they will tell the “ushers” (ie, securityforces in disguise!) to NOT *(&^(*% EAT SEEDS AND SPIT THE SHELLS ALL OVER THE PLACE! And PLEASE someone, tell them not to congregate at the railings blocking everyone’s view, oh and when they bring their lunch boxes over, tell them NOT to throw the wrappers all over the place and take their rubbish away with them.

Tickets are on sale locally at BD10 each for Sunday. There are lots of people who were awarded free tickets who don’t want to go so are off loading them. On Thursday you could buy tickets for all three days for BD50.
It’s not everyones cup of tea.
