2-4-6

what they said about the Bahrain Grand Prix:

There is an energy about the place now that did not seem to be there a year ago.

I think we should be pround of ourselves with a quote like this one, especially considering the less than ideal experience the same reporter had in Bahrain during the first GP.

2-4-6? I think if the trend stays the same, we’ll have next year’s F1 grand prix on 2 April 2006! Nice numbers, no?

First it was 4 – 4 – 4, then this year it was 3 – 4 – 5, next year it’s 2 – 4 – 6!

Ready or not, here I come!!!

I will travel to Bahrain (yes, all the way from Bolivia, via Buenos Aires, Frankfurt, and London) this Saturday. Sadly, I will arrive way after the F-1 carnival is over. Yes, It takes 3 days to get there from here! I get there Wednesday the 13th!!

These are my demands: I want nice cool weather and plenty of good shopping. Can you deliver? Mahmood, I’ll be looking for you at the Al Seef mall so I can get an autograph!!! 🙂

    P! (still in Bolivia)

i got over exited with the numbers game.. so decided to check out what 2007 would look like..
🙁 disappointing … 1-4-7 or 8-4-7 depending on what weekend they hold it….

the only nice thing about the first combination is that it’s in 1 straight line if your dialing it! (hehehe reminds me of that thread on bahraini’s obsession with car plate numbers!)

maybe next year we can have a section on pit hunks… to serve the other audiences.. ehehe and maybe you won’t get annoying demands to take their pics off your blog!

P! enjoy Bahrain as much as you can especially if you need 3 days to get there. About the cool weather, I think that you won’t get that. For some reason it’s very hot for this time of year, 42 degrees celcius for the F1 race, so don’t expect much hehe. Have a safe trip.

Mahmood, will you guys have any blogger meetings like the ones you did before by any chance, sometime in late July or August maybe?

Back to the F1, the date sequences can’t get any better.

    Almost there…..

    Khalid,

42 degrees sounds good! When I left Bahrain last July, it was 54 in the shade! I will be very happy if it stays below 45…

As for the shopping…I am going directly to the gold souq! And yes, the DO take VISA!!!!

Mahmood, I will email you when I’m in country. Thank you for the invite!

    P!
