Deserves it for two main reasons:

    (1) Stop sendin us the bs we already had enough of, you now even get it on your uni mail for god’s sake.

    (2) All that money he’s made.

Enjoy your time in jail and try spammin from there if you can, maybe produce your jail babes or jail mortgages spam series.

9 years is pretty harsh for sending junk mail. I don’t even think manslaughter gets that much. He’ll probably appeal and get the sentence down.

The problem with spam is that it works. There’s actually people who buy the stuff the spammers are pushing, whether it’s to get rich quick, lose weight fast, get a bigger … well, you get the idea. As long as there’s someone buying, there will be someone selling and if the spammers can’t send mail in Virginia or in the US, they’ll do it from the Bahamas.

Finally, justice catches up with a spammer, but it’s not enough.

First, all the contact information for a spammer should be placed on a central spammer’s board. I’m sure there are a lot of people around the world who would like to send some token of their appreciation via every mode of communication. For example, a dozen pizzas from every pizzeria in his town. Heck, Saturday, he should get deliveries from every fast food place in town. He would also probably enjoy being placed on spam lists himself. His telephone numbers should be given to every telemarketer so that he can jabber with his fellow spammers in other technologies. And of course, his junk mail should be prodigious. You can’t get enough Sears catalogues. I’d say a nice big bag of mail a day should keep him busy.

Of course, there’s nothing like an angry mob armed with farm implements and torches marching on his house. I’d be happy to bring marshmallows to toast in the fire. Best of all, I hope he gets a giant cellmate who wants to spam his inbox for the length of his sentence. Let’s see how he likes it.
