The first and second round of the Mini Challenge 2005 will be held today and tomorrow (Wednesday and Thursday) as a support race for the third round of the Bahrain National Drag Racing Championship held at the Bahrain International Circuit.
The Mini races will be held as drag races and will kick off at 7pm on each day bringing together 14 teams to vie for the top spot in the eight leg championships.
However dozens of participants from all over the Gulf region and Bahrain will take part in the third round of the drag championship organized by the Bahrain Drag Racing Club (BDRC).
The championship has so far created a huge level of interest throughout the GCC and Bahrain. Dozens of cars took part in the pre-qualifying event, the test and tune held earlier this month.
