Lunch with nasseremarati

lunch with nasser_e, originally uploaded by malyousif.

at one of my favourite restaurants on the island: Waves, at the Crowne Plaza hotel.

This is Nasser‘s first visit to Bahrain, he just came in from Toronto to spend a couple of weeks with his family in Dubai, and opted to stay in Bahrain for a few days as well! Welcome to your 2nd home Nasser.

    FISH!

Nasser had sweet and sour fish, I had the excellent grilled Shi’ri as a main course, Gulf prawns in Thai red chilli sauce for starter (we both did) and ended up with a fruit salad and coffee.

More important that the food, I enjoyed meeting this young man who is going back to Toronto soon to help with caring for Toronto’s homeless people. Good on you my friend.

Welcome dude and hopefully you enjoy it.

Man Mahmood you got me hungry, best dish in the world is grilled hamour (I remember that amazin one in fusions in the Gulf Hotel). I see Sushi written on that offer or menu, man love that too.

I’ll definately check out that restaurant this summer.

Anyways, again enjoy your time here and I respect you for the cause you’re workin on. Good luck :).

The fish sounds great. I must eat at home to much I liked the cloth napkins. I wasnt sure what fish grilled Shi’ri is so I ran a search on google. Guess who came up first on the search for grilled Shi’ri? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=grilled+Shi%27ri&btnG=Search Congradulations Mahmood on.
