This is the first bloggers’ gathering in Ramadhan, so let’s make it memorable!
As it is Ramadhan, obviously the Country Club, our usual venue, might not be very appropriate, but there are various Ramadhan Tents we might want to go to and chill out in.
I’m not a frequenter of these tents, so your help will be much appreciate it if you would suggest a venue (as soon as possible) and a time we can all agree on.
Thursday is only 4 days away, so let’s get cracking…
My suggestion:
Gulf Hotel – 9pm – 11pm

I suggested the Gulf Hotel as it was the first name that came into my head, rather than from personal experience, hence I defer to your choice, we need suggestions people so come ON.

From last year experience, Gulf hotel sucks, Ritz is good. Time 9-11 is fine.

I’ve been to the Gulf’s last year and it was the finest among the rest, I second Mahmood on the suggestion.

So we essentially have 3 people indifferent to the location
1 prefers the Gulf Hotel
and 1 for who doesn’t
and 1 for the Ritz
… lemme see… Ok, Ritz it is. 9 – 11.
Phew! That was a very very long labour. I just hope the babies will actually arrive at the gathering and won’t be too indifferent about it. We need to get together guys, this is not just chinwagging, but building a real community, exchange ideas, and cement friendships. It’s only once a month, so let’s get together and enjoy our company.

So far only 3: Haitham, Sadiq and myself have registered, I suspect that SBG (hopefully with her husband?) are coming and you (if you had signed your name you twit I would have known who you are!! ;))
oh, and bring your own booze, as they’ve done away with that arbitrarily this year thanks to the ministry of disinformation’s soon to be dissolved tourism office. not sure what tourism they’re talking about, but at least they’re called tourism office!
