Please welcome Global Soul to the burgeoning Bahraini vlogger community!
Vlogging is a very simple and very creative exercise that you should all do on a regular basis. I bet that you all have mobile phones with video capturing capability, that is if you don’t have a very good video camera as well. So get on with it, you don’t have to reveal your identity, but you can show the whole world what Bahrainis get up to.
Should be fun.
In that spirit I’ll write a document explaining my workflow which I am sure will help others as well. This should be finished soon (hey, it’s Ramadhan and I’ve got nothing to do! ;))
UPDATE 051006L1120: For excellent basic tutorials, go to FreeVLOG

for a directory of vlogs, go to vlogdir.com
more as I find them, but the above will have permanent buttons on the left bar soon.

Another Bahraini vlogger appears
Hiya Mahmood
this has ntohing to do with the topic but….
I was reading Global souls blog and I came across one of your comments. I didn’t know that you’re from “fareeg alHammam”
Re: Another Bahraini vlogger appears
Indeed, our house was directly opposite Al-Zahra primary school… and you are?
Another Bahraini vlogger appears
I’m Zainab Alkhawaja, or dreamer…
My father is from “fareeg alHammam” and honestly I never heard of anyone else saying they are from there. I started to think that maybe my dads family lived there alone :p
Re: Another Bahraini vlogger appears
I know your family quite well actually. I love your aunt umm Muneer whom I have spent quite some time at her house playing around or revising with Muneer who’s my childhood and best friend. I met your dad several times, the most recent I think was at Muneer’s father’s funeral (may he rest in peace) in A’ali.
We might not agree on a lot of issues, but that doesn’t spoil an ancient relationship, nor do these views affect family friendships.

Seriously… Bahrain is so small, everyone is related somehow
Thats what I like about it..
It doesn’t matter if you agree with my dad on issues or not, as long as we all want whats best for our country, then we can all work towards that goal in our own way.
In the end we all love Bahrain.

how very true, on all counts!
