When I see this , I think of a close friend, a thoughtful, dignified man from northern China who has worked at Microsoft for 8 years. Because I know him quite well, I felt I would be able to predict his demeanor and facial expression if I confronted him with this video.
I was rewarded beyond all expectations, as this event took place some time ago, and my friend was actually in the audience. Not only did I get the embarassed exhaling sigh, the dropped shoulders, and the subtle upward rolling of the eyes, but he actually turned red and squirmed uncomfortably in his chair as my wife served him a cup of tea in our kitchen (video playing on my laptop).
It was a small, quiet shadenfreude moment 🙂
