Mtc-Bulls Moto-Cross Racer Yousif Karimi secures podium position

Mtc-Bulls Yousif Karimi came in second closely behind Abdul Nasser Al Sadah in the first race of the Moto-Cross season on Friday 18th November off Shaikh Isa Highway. In third place was Hassan Mohammed.

A total of twelve racers joined the event organized by the Bahrain Motorcycle Club, sponsored by Al Gosaibi Travel and supported by the Marshals Club, Ambulance Service and the traffic department. Hundreds of spectators lined the track to catch a glimpse of the riders as they sped and jumped around the track. The track surface was good as the previous nights’ rain fall compacted the dirt creating more cushioning for the riders and the cool weather conditions made it more enjoyable for riders and spectators.

Each racer had to complete three rounds each consisting of six 1km laps. Mtc-Bulls 21year old Yousif Karimi finished second in the first two races and won the third giving him second overall in the first round of the season. In the first race Yousif Karimi fell off his bike while battling for the win and dropped to sixth place but put up a tremendous fight to secure second.

“It was a good first round of the season and all the riders did very well. They rode well. We thank Fawaz Fahad Al Gosaibi for sponsorship from Al Gosaibi Travel, and the Marshals Club, Ambulance and Traffic Department fro their support said Isa Al Awadhi, President of the Bahrain Motorcycle Club.

“There are practise sessions almost everyday and we welcome new members into the Motorcycle club who do not have to race. For more information about the Club please contact the Bahrain Motor Federation said Al Awadhi.
