A few things that put a smile on my face this morning, I hope these would do the same to you too 😉 :
AN unsatisfied customer complained to the police when a prostitute agreed to have sex with him, but then ran off with his cash, sources told the GDN.
They said the Moroccan woman agreed to sleep with the Qatari tourist in a hotel room, but ran off with BD190 before they had sex.
The 32-year-old tourist reported the woman to police, but claimed she was simply visiting him in his room when she took the cash.
However, it is understood he was one of her customers. She escaped in a Chevrolet car parked outside the hotel that was driven by another man. No more details were available.

Apart from that can you even imagine the temerity and audaciousness of the guy? If all things are equal, he paid for a service he didn’t get, that’s just not good form!
THE stage is set for a showdown today over allegations that Muharraq councillors are squandering public money on pointless trips abroad.
Residents are expected to meet with Muharraq Municipal Council chairman Mohammed Al Wazzan, after being invited to a public meeting at the council’s premises.
More than 100 Muharraq residents submitted a petition to the council, demanding it explain why necessary projects and services are being delayed, while councillors travel on the council’s money.
Over the past three years, the council has paid for members to travel to Turkey, Germany, Malaysia and Egypt and other countries.
But council vice-chairman Dr Mubarak Al Junaid said yesterday that the trips were within budget and were valuable fact-finding missions.
He said someone was poisoning residents’ minds against the council.

This is democracy in action, and I don’t appreciate a public official continuing to hide behind the “poisoning minds” red herring, the fish is long dead and stopped stinking to be sure, but they still keep it in their pockets to whip out at their whims. What the hell would municipal councillors be doing going to all these places on “fact finding missions?” Get real, fire their asses and don’t elect them again!

My maternal grandfather, rest his soul, used to tell me that:[arabic]هم العرب بطنهم وشبر تØÂÂÂت بطنهم![/arabic] translated as “The Arab’s concern is his stomach, and 6 inches below it!”
I’ll never forget him saying this and never forget this ideom. And the longer I live, the more I witness that it is correct!
