Good concept maps

Thanks to Alt-Ctrl-Del, he brings us 6 excellent concept maps which should be printed on A1 or A0 size and hung on the wall of your office or room:

concept maps

These maps are from the efforts of the Dubberly Design Office, which:

have just posted a small sample of concept maps they’ve designed within the last 7 years. Each map takes a difficult—almost mystical—subject and attempts to rigorously map out its many complexities and relationships.

The maps show the following concepts:

    1. What is Java technology and its community?
    2. How does the Domain Name System(DNS) work?
    3. What is a brand?
    4. How do organizations track customers to retain them longer—and acquire more?
    5. What is Internet search?
    6. What happens during a heart attack?

You should check in on ACD’s blog as he continuously puts up excellent and fun nuggets of information, especially for the tech-savvy.

“What happens during a heart attack?”

That would be quite comforting. Because you know what’s happening to you, it would be helpful in reducing the chances of a concurrent anxiety attack when Batelco shifts you down to 64kb.

Funny. I’d be very calmly going like “Oh, bugger..”

kinda reminds me of the Great Bear…the london underground map with the relabeled stations…I like them…
