It’s that time of the year again, the most important Blogging Awards have been announced, and you just have one week to nominate your favourite blog.

I would of course highly appreciate it if you would nominate me again! for the Best Middle East and Africa blog. Last year, I was a finalist with my good friends Haitham Sabbah, Baghdad Burning, Subzero Blue and Sleepless in Sudan in which the excellent Baghdad Burning won the award.

All you need do is go to the Bloggies site and fill in the blanks.

Along with myself (I know, shameless!) I’ve also just nominated The Lands of Sands and Mideast Youth.

Thanks a lot for your nomination, Mahmood! I think you’re the first to ever nominate Mideast Youth for anything so I highly apprciate your interest and support.

You deserve it Esra’a, you’ve put a lot of effort in Mideast Youth and brought together a good group of people from various backgrounds and countries to contribute very interesting points of view. It is on my daily stops, actually more than once a day!

Your effort deserves the win, if not at least you should be selected as a finalist. I wish you luck.
