SPOT in the pond

SPOT in the pond, originally uploaded by malyousif.

This is one of two frogs who developed from tadpoles a few weeks ago. They have almost tripled in size and they hop in and out of the pond as they wish. Seeing them now is a treasure hunt as they are so well camouflaged and it seems that they are hardly ever in the pond in the first place.

It’s fun having them.

Have a wonderful Friday my friends!

The common frogs in England spend most of their time in long grass, often a long way from the nearest water. If you let a couple of square metres grow, they would like that. Of course, your kind of frog may be different.
