    So this show has John Cleese? He has been an amazing entertainer on Monty Python, I should check this out some time.

    I’ve seen every episode of fawlty towers, it’s one of the best comedies of all time IMHO.

    If you’re got the BBC DVDs, the second disk of the first season contains interviews with him. He is so different from his character that it is just freaky and shows at the same time what a good character actor he actually is!

    He is a native German who speaks flawless English and an almost introvert. All qualities which are completely at odds with his on-screen character.

    Wonderful series. I’ve saved the last 4 episodes of the second season for tonight!

    You had one of those too? I did a fawlty towers marathon a while back and almost died laughing. I’ve lined up Peter Seller’s The Party for this weekend – havent seen it since I was a kid, and I’m wondering if its going to be as funny.

    Is the front cover of the DVD the one with the front door?

    I was shocked when I rented it a while back to only see 6 or 8 episodes. I thought there were more!
