I think I need to take a knee, breathe into a bag, be still my beating heart. I felt a disturbance in the Force, googled Mahmood’s Den, AND THERE HE WAS! I hope this isn’t some wild hallucination I’m having. This is real, isn’t it? Isn’t it?
Hope so Steve, I do. But the nature of my work has dramatically changed that I don’t have as much time as I used to. So let’s see how far this stone could be thrown.

Can’t blame you for setting the blog down for a while. They soak up incredible amounts of time for little real payoff other than emotional satisfaction. If you don’t find a way to make money out of it, then it’s inevitable you’ll abandon it at some point. If you make a profit on it, that will also change the quality of it, tying your opinions to your sponsors and forcing you to pander to your readers to build your audience.
