Yes, Amsterdam definitely rules–and having been there for myself, I can tell you this from personal experience! I was lucky to be there during the start of the Euro 2000 Soccer Championships, which Holland was co-hosting with nearby Belgium. As it turned out, the Dutch were playing the Czechs on opening night–and let me tell you, the pre-match and post-match parties in the streets of Amsterdam had some of the BEST outdoor party atmosphere I’ve ever seen. The Dutch definitely know how to party well, that’s for sure!
