I don’t understand what his current contribution to the the Palestinians is. He might have been a great war leader in the past, but what is he now other than yet another Arab corrupt official who is hanging to his seat with his teeth?
It was funny listening to Suha rant this morning on the BBC Arabic service, even ending her diatribe with “Allah Akbar, Allah Akbar” where she sounded distinctly unconvinced of that fact. Hang on a minute, wasn’t she raised Catholic? What, she converted too? Isn’t Islam a fast growing religion with all these conversions. Had the conversions added to our ranks with people like peacefulmuslimah I would say excellent, but we seem to have a penchant overall to get really weird people converting!
Time to go bud. Let someone else lead your destitute country into peace and end the bloodshed. What the Palestinians need now is a leader for the peace, not the war. That equation’s result has been confirmed at below zero for a long time. It’s just time for us now to wake up and smell the machboos.

I feel very sorry for the young Arafat girl.
That Suha decamped to Paris with a 5 or 6 year old child and never came back says everything you need to know about her. Her performance of yesterday only confirms the bad impression.
Of course this is another example of why 65 year old men shouldn’t have babies. The poor child will have almost no memory of him, will she?

You’d be surprised by the amount of nonsense that I hear every time someone opens up this topic. The Palestinians here are making a huge fuss over the unknown physical status of the Palestinian president. There were two Palestinians that got into a fight on campus during university hours, simply because one of them actually voiced his opinion about the non-effective tactics of Arafat.
With the large percentage of Palestinian students in the university, Student Government Elections are going to be one hell of an affair, considering the political nature of the elections in any Lebanese university.

That Suha … yikes! When pig farmers want to call their pigs in they use the term Su-hee! I always think of that when I see the lovely Mrs… Frankly I have a far greater fondness for the lowly porcine creatures than this greedy opportunist.
