Bahrain will host the annual FIA Drag Racing Commission meeting on Saturday May 21 at the Bahrain International Circuit, making it the first country in the Middle East to host the 11 member meeting.
“It is a privilege for Bahrain to be a member and host the commission,� said BIC Sports Manager and Bahraini member of the commission, Elie Semaan.
The commission, a collaboration of national sporting authorities from around the world set to standardize rules and regulations governing international drag racing, will start a packed agenda of meetings at 9am on Saturday.
The meeting will discuss the rules and regulations of the FIA European Drag Championship and other issues on the table including modification of drag racing rules.
