    Daddy’s working too hard to see his lovely girls. Laura going to big school five days a week. Dana’s at home, progressing rapidly and Gillian at the centre of it all keeping everyone sane and happy.

    Ah I remember little Laura, that would be the one with the bonny curly hair. I daresay it will be half term next week. Her first holiday from big school. It’s at this point that some bairns get the idea that they have now left school, for good…..

    After all, they’ve been going there for six whole weeks….

    When they have to return to school, a new box of coloured crayons usually softens the blow.
