A pig is cleaner than this bearded monster

Parliament is again interfering in the internal affairs of other countries. Legally, the Prime Minister of Iraq has given the Americans his go ahead to attack Faluja and clean it of insurgents.

The Bahraini parliament, particularly the bearded pig above, coupled with Yousif Al-Hermi and Jassim Al-Saidi were insensed when Abdulla Al-Aali asked for the motion to be put for discussion. Ali Al-Samahiji declared that this motion (rightly) would be an interference in a sovereign country’s internal affairs.

What this pig immediately assumed is that it is a sectarian issue and described the shi’a as:

You are killers, unclean (سفله) and the people of Falujah are more honourable than you and your ilk, they are the heroes regardless of what you and your lot see them as

This is a representative of the people? Someone this sick only deserves to be in a cesspool or flushed down a toilet, not in a country’s parliament.

Unfortunately we have a lot of them, most of them salafis and openly supporting this sort of thing, even if it was true.

I would not be at all surprised if they had a party after a suicide bomber blows a shi’a neighbourhood in Bahrain to smithereens.

    yes indeed he did.

The questions in my mind have more than been answered though:

    Q1. What’s their main job?
    A1. Bitch and cry.

Q2. What do they THINK their main job is?
A2. Substitute parliament for municipal councel.

    Q3. Are they effective?
A3. As effective as a hole in the head.

Q4. Do THEY think that they are effective?
A4. Of course! Their contributions are manifold:

  2. 1. establish and increase sectarian tensions in Bahrain.
  3. 2. absolve ANY official from ANY wrongdoing, be that proven or not is immaterial.
  4. 3. pad their nests.
  5. 4. silence the press (what press freedom?)
  6. 5. silence the people (no demos now ya here?)
  7. 6. kiss ass and brownnose.
  8. 7. appear to care.
  9. 8. flood the sessions with their personal proposals, rather than legislate.
  10. have I left out anything?

    Mahmood,

With all respect, if we shouldn’t interfere with Iraq internal situation, what’s the US is exactly doing there ?

Also.. I wouldn’t call “the prime minister of Iraq” someone elected by the Pentagone. Don’t get me wrong ! have no sympathy for the morons in fallujah trying to install another taliban regime but the sad situation there should be of concern to all of us arabs/muslims without this being an intrusion in internal affairs.

    Salam.

This HAS to be my favorite picture of Mohammed Khalid.

I know that in the past I’ve talked about the salafis as obnoxious windbags with little impact, who were only going to be voted out anyway. I’m willing to stand corrected on that issue, if anyone care to do so….

These dicks must be held accountable. Bahrain is a civil and intelligent society and has no place for bigotry and stupidity like what they’re spouting. I can’t believe people voted these jerks in! Parliamentary censure would be a start. Permanent Retirement would be nice, and a one-way ticket to Fallujah would be Eid Al Fitr, Christmas and New Year all rolled into one!

Of course, Mohammed Khalid wouldn’t put his own ass in danger like how Shaikh Ali Salman was itching to do when US troops held the Imam Ali Shrine at Najaf in siege. Six of one; half a dozen of the other. The shoe seems to fit Sunni feet as well as it does Shi’a.

And I see that he’s not wearing his bisht…

    Here’s a couple more:

    9. Ban working political parties on the grounds that the word Hizb has connotations of the “dark side” according to Asalah.

    10. And as of yesterday propose bulldozing Bahrain’s archaeological heritage in order to build houses and new roads, courtesy of Deputy Dawg and Ali Al Samaheji.

Ok, what’s the obsession with bulldozers all of a sudden?

Dhahrani, Saeedi and Samaheji wouldn’t happen to scratching the backs of the big construction folks now would they? Tossing a little extra-curricular activity their way for a little extra curry?

    Just spotting patterns….

There’s no doubt that Mohammed Khaled is the mastermind behind Gulf Al Qaeda – if a terror suspect’s arrested in the region you can guarantee that his name crops up somewhere along the line. The only thing that stops the esteemed MP from being on the first flight to Guantanamo Bay is his parliamentary immunity.

Apparently his constituency is in the Northern Governorate, which means if there’s one reason to hope that Al Wefaq take part in 2006 it’s that they’ll literally send this guy packing on a one way ticket.

Possibly what’s most alarming about Mohammed Khaled is that he’s a member of the “respectable” Muslim Brotherhood party, which gives a some indication of what’s going through the minds of the Asalah MPs.

Exactly – I’d be particularly interested to know whether any of them are involved with the numerous road building firms using Caterpillar bulldozers, considering this: http://www.catdestroyshomes.org/

that site is a bit extreme, isn’t it? actually vulgar if you ask me. some of the depictions of the MPs are classic though!

Re(1): A pig is cleaner than this bearded monster

Yeah I don’t really like the site as a whole because it isn’t really funny. Most of the stuff is quite stupid (and sometimes vulgar, like the hamad fart one). However, as I’ve said before, political satire and humour is (in my humble opinion) an essential item in democracy. It allows people to express deep seated feelings withour resorting to violence, or even needing to pack the streets with protestors. The site is a mediocre start, and (if it doesn’t get shut down) my hope is that it will get better and/or encourage other people get out and do some better and sharper political satire.

I look forward to the day that a Bahraini TV station airs its own version of Yes Minister. Some day…
With all respect, if we shouldn’t interfere with Iraq internal situation, what’s the US is exactly doing there ?
The US is:

    1. Stopping the Iraqis from sending chemical weapons made in the covert network of laboratories found there to America in perfume bottles, as described in Iraqi documentation found there, to kill Americans in acts of Saddam-sponsored terrorism.

    2. Killing Al Qaeda terrorists, like Zarqawi and his gang, who would otherwise be killing Americans in America or anybody elsewhere.

    3. Stopping Saddam from slaughtering his own people by the hundreds of thousands.

    4. Stopping Saddam from slaughtering his neighbors by the hundreds of thousands.

    5. Responding to a belligerent Iraq which fired a thousand surface to air missiles at our aircraft patrolling the UN-mandated no fly zones in more than six hundred attacks over years.

    6. Putting teeth in the eighteen UN resolutions that Saddam ignored so that other tyrants will be dissuaded from making war on their neighbors.

    7. Establishing the rule of law, democracy, free markets, and individual rights in the Middle East in the hope it will be contagious to its neighbors.

    Hope that clears everything up,

    Steve

I am speechless. I really am. This Parliament is a FARCE and yesterday’s session should be sent to the COMEDY CHANNEL. I really don’t know what the Taliban want from us but all I know is this: democracy and freedom have no place in Bahrain. May be in another age, another time ..but definetly not now. This parliament is making Bahrain and half it’s people (considering that half of them boycotted the elections) the laughing stock of town.
This morning’s GDN made me laugh and cry at the same time. Our honourable horrible MPs were shouting “SHUT UP” at each other! At the end of the session, they kissed and made up. The theatrical performance was over. The message was received by all. Those people are not working for Bahrain and all its sects and people. The Sunnis have their agenda and the Shias too. It is a rule and divide policy which will make Tabilban a reality too soon. It really is a shame.
What good did yesterday’s farce serve? Who benefits from it the most? Will creating more division in a society which is already crushed by prejudice and discrimination across the board make Bahrain more democratic?
I really don’t have the answer.

This episode raises some interesting points. I do agree that our Parliament shouldn’t be wasting its time on the internal affairs of other countries when we have so many domestic problems to deal with. Our joker MPs have not done anything yet to address real social and economic issues.

However it is outright hypocrisy for Al A’ali and the Shia’ Islamist gang to be raising concerns about interfering in the affairs of other countries when (correct me if I’m wrong) they pushed a statement condemning the action in Najaf not so long ago.

Re: A pig is cleaner than this bearded monster

The reason you’ve got these types deciding the laws of the country is because enough morons went down to the ballot box and voted them in. That’s the problem.

  25. mahmood

    The pig is being sued.

looks like this prick is being sued [arabic] by some members of the public for defamation. Good for them!

  26. mahmood

The pig wants to sue the paper now

Using the very press law that this dick-head should fight with all his being, being an MP and all, he’s sueing Al-Wasat’s editor-in-cheif and the reporter who broke the story for defamation and various other choice grievances.

He says, confirmed by his own party – Al-Menbar Islamic Society’s Dr. Salah Ali – that he never say the words attributed to him in the paper.

Well, the paper came out strongly behind its own reporter. Let’s now see if it goes to court and who is telling the truth.
