Employees in companies owned by the government and those in which it is a shareholder, will soon receive a percentage of their profits. This follows directives from His Majesty King Hamad, and revealed by Labour Minister Dr Majeed Al Alawi in a speech during yesterday’s ceremony marking International Labour Day held at the Crown Plaza Hotel.
About 250 employees from the government and private sectors were honoured at the event, organised by the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions.
