PM leaves for UK

Manama, April. 8 (BNA) Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa left here today on several days visit to the United Kingdom to attend the graduation of his grandson Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Khalifa from Saint Herst Royal Military College.
The Prime Minister was seen off at the airport by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Chairman of Representatives Council Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, a number of ministers , Chairman of Bahrain Petroleum Company Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, top officials , the Governor of Muharraq and UK ambassador to Bahrain.

    All these people just to see off the PM?

    Is this standard protocol for him… or are they unsure of when they might get to see him again? Probably the former.

    Al-Moawdah can go stuff himself. The candel-lit vigil is an expression of grief and support which is condoned by the spirit of Islam, even if this salafist rants on about it.

    and i love it! the fundies getting upset at each other.

    someone should tell al mawadeh, (or the preacher former known as the pothead), that praying at the ka-bah existed pre islam .. so did alot of other things that are now known as ‘islamic’. perhaps we should establish a fund for him to go and learn some history?
